submitted by Simone-Michele J. - |Recommended: YesI Just Moved In And Its Great — We just moved in saturday and wanted alot of touch-ups and maintenance has been on top of everything, contacting us the same day, the grounds are super clean and the apartment didnt have anything noticeably wrong with it when we move in. Very open floor plans and my the patio is honestly completely life changing. Everything about this place so far is efficient. The property managers arent the best with communication but you can tell they try there best, especially leshay and bria might be butchering the spelling of her name

submitted by Caroline W. - |Recommended: YesVery Convenient, Comfortable, And Pleasant Neighborhood — I am really liking this place so far Centennial is in a convenient and comfortable location in Madisonville. It's super close to grocery stores and food. The community is gated which makes it feel safe and private. It has a lot of grassy areas to walk your dog. Our apartment feels very clean and spacious. The staff are super helpful and friendly. A few small complaints are that there aren't very many lights in the neighborhood at night it can get quite dark , there are no sidewalks, and the trash cans and recycling areas are not very convenient. I am also noticing some chipped stair railings.

Regarding the exterior lighting, we updated it in August 2022, and the community is now more than 50% brighter than before. As for the sidewalks, they weren’t part of the original design 20 years ago, which is common in garden-style communities. We’re also in the process of pressure washing and painting the breezeways and stairwells, which should address the chipped stair railings you mentioned. Staff did not properly inform tenants that a 60 day written notice is required prior to the lease agreement coming to an end. Resulting in us to pay an extra month and a half on an apartment that is unoccupied.
response from property -Hi Jacob! I'm so sorry to see the one star rating and the comments you wrote on the review that you gave to us today. You mentioned that the communication between the staff and residents is lacking because we failed to communicate to our residents that a 60 day written notice is required prior to the lease agreement coming to end. I'm not sure what else you would like for us to do because it's clearly written in the lease agreement that both you and Brittany e-signed on June 3, 2023. I've attached a copy of it and put a red square around provision 1 and 4 which mention the required 60 day written notice. I've also attached a copy of the renewal offer that was emailed to both of you on May 3, 2024. I put a red rectangle around the date and the sentence that indicates that a 60 day written notice is required. As I mentioned to you on the telephone, our software keeps track of all communication with you. When emails are sent via the software, it also is able to inform us if the emails are read. I attached a copy of your activity log and I put a red rectangle around May 3, 2024 when the renewal offer was sent. I underlined where both you and Brittany read the email. As a comparison, I put a yellow rectangle around the email that was sent out on May 6, 2024, regarding New York Times Being Left at the Front Gate and the Elika User Instructions. You'll see that Brittany read that email, but you didn't. Can you please share with me what else we could have done? I'm always looking for ways for us to improve. Again, I'm so sorry that you feel that there is a lack of communication between myself, my team, and our residents because I'm proud of the amount of communication we send out. I feel it's better to over communicate, than to not communicate effectively. I also often hear from residents that we over communicate, that they receive too many emails from us. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that we are never going to make all 475 residents happy, however it is my daily goal to try. Please let me know if you have any questions. Our previous apartment and property management experience was an absolute nightmare, so moving into Centennial completely changed our quality of life immediately. Moving into a community and apartment that truly feels like “home” has been incredible and we are so grateful to be here.
